Malabo - havenstad en hoofdstad Equatoriaal Guinea op het eiland Bioko
De stad is in 1827 door de Engelsen gesticht die het eiland gedurende de koloniale periode van Spanhe hadden gehuurd. Toen Port Clarence genaamd, was het een marinebasis van waaruit de slavenhandel werd
bestreden. Vele bevrijde slaven konden zich op het eiland vestigen, voorafgaand aan de stichting van Sierra Leone als een land voor bevrijde slaven.

Corisco
Corisco is the fief of the ethnic group benga. The beauty of the women bengas being legendary, The island
carried (wore) a long time the name of " island of the Amur ". Moreover almost totality of the current inhabitants are half-bloods.
The Portugueses and the Dutch used Corisco as deposit ( warehouse ) of slaves from the XV, century: from
1530, the Portugueses practise the business of the slaves in the island of BioKb and in Rio Muni. Most of the Blacks transported in Cuba come from Rio Muni. In 1642, the Dutch succeed the Portugueses.
Corisco was the equal of Gorée, small island of Senegal in the wide of Dakar, in the sinister business of the "ebony".
